The Elite Series – featuring Elite Symmetry and Elite Affinity – is our striking range of framed acoustic glass doors. These 100mm thick glass doors have been designed exclusively for use within our Revolution 100 double glazed system and can achieve an acoustic performance that competes with bespoke acoustic timber door sets as standard. We can also offer an elegant pocket sliding door as part of the range – Elite Aero is an ideal space saving solution for modern office environments.
Being 100mm thick, the high performing Elite Symmetry pivoting glass door perfectly complements our Revolution 100 double glazed system. The stylish door is double rebated and incorporates numerous acoustic seals, including two drop seals, in order to achieve an impressive Rw43dB, using 6mm and 8mm thick glass. Elite Symmetry is available as a single door only. The door features a minimal 48mm non-lockable stile with just 18mm visible on the corridor side when the door is in its closed position. Elite Symmetry is the ideal solution for meeting rooms and offices which require the highest level of acoustic performance, without compromising on aesthetics. Unlike timber door sets, they allow natural light to flow though a workspace.
Elite Affinity is our highest performing acoustic glass door. Double rebated and incorporating superior acoustic seals, including two drop seals, this impressive 100mm double glazed pivoting glass door achieves an incredible Rw45dB, using 6mm and 8.8mm thick glass; an acoustic performance which is comparable to bespoke, high acoustic timber door sets. The 97mm internal leading stile; 67mm visible on the corridor side when the door is in its closed position, can accommodate a dead lock, sash lock or latch. This high specification door is the result of extensive product development and testing by Optima and pushes the boundaries of the acoustic performance of glass doors.
The Elite Aero door is ideal for smaller areas where space is restricted because the door slides between the partition glazing. It can achieve an impressive Rw39dB with 12mm toughened glass, in a double glazed Revolution 100 screen with two layers of 12.8mm thick acoustic laminated glass. This elegant door can incorporate a cylinder hook bolt lock and soft close/open function if required.
As with all of our products, the Elite series of doors are laboratory tested for acoustic performance in a UKAS accredited laboratory and full test reports are available upon request. The following test results have been achieved:
